Sarah Beard

Sarah Beard studied law at the University of Cologne, obtaining a Certificate in United States Law and completing internships at both a commercial law firm and the Federal Ministry of Defense. Prior to her legal clerkship, she worked for a while in the administration of the German Bundestag in Berlin, where she was involved in procurement procedures in the Procurement Department. During her legal clerkship at the Regional Court in Bonn, she worked again in the German Bundestag in the Committee for Education and Research and in the Federal Foreign Office in the department for relations with the United States of America and Canada, among other positions.

Since October 2023, Sarah Beard has been working at CBH in the area of public procurement law. There she advises both public clients and bidders on all issues relating to public procurement law with regard to national and Europe-wide tenders. Her practice also includes European state aid law.
