Dr Stephan Gruber

Dr Stephan Gruber studied law at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and received his doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property in 1985.Dr Stephan Gruber is a partner at CBH in Munich since July 2017. He is active in trademark law and competition law in a forensic and advisory capacity. He specializes in litigious patent and utility model law. He regularly conducts patent infringement and nullity proceedings in all technical fields, with a focus on electronics and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry and medical technology.Dr Stephan Gruber regularly lectures on national and international patent law. He is member of the “Hall of Fame” at Legal 500 2021/2022 and Patent and Trademark Star 2021 (IP Stars). JUVE Patent lists him as a Leading Individual 2021 („one of the best-known litigators for infringement and nullity suits by Mittelstand companies“; “brilliant mind, he can quote the right Supreme Court ruling for every problem”, competitor).
