VITA

Britta Lissner studied law in Passau, Freiburg and at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in Spain. During her legal clerkship in Karlsruhe, she completed training periods in Buenos Aires and at an international law firm in Frankfurt and deepened her knowledge in the field of intellectual property law. After completing her second state examination, she continued her specialization with a master’s degree in European Intellectual Property Law (LL.M.) at the University of Stockholm.Britta Lissner has been working as an attorney in the field of intellectual property since her admission in 2011 and joined the CBH team in 2016. Her main areas of practice are trademark and competition law as well as design protection. She provides strategic advice on the establishment and further development of trademarks and designs and defends these intellectual property rights in official and court proceedings. Britta Lissner’s out-of-court advice includes the negotiation of demarcation and licensing agreements as well as advice on (online) marketing measures. Another focus of her practice is information technology law, including data protection law. Britta Lissner is also a certified data protection officer (GDDcert).In addition to her legal practice, Britta Lissner publishes on various topics of intellectual property law and data protection law and gives lectures and seminars. She is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright. (GRUR). The international magazine “Managing Intellectual Property” recognized Britta Lissner as a “Rising Star” in the IP Stars Ranking in 2021.
