Dr Nico Herbst

Dr. Nico Herbst studied law in Cologne and India. Sponsored by Kölner Gymnasial- und Stiftungsfonds, he completed his doctorate at the University of Cologne (Prof. Dr. Burkhard Schöbener, Lehrstuhl für Öffentliches Recht, Völker- und Europarecht) on social participation in European Law. During his doctoral studies he was a research assistant at the University of Cologne and in a major business law firm in Cologne.Already during his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Bonn, Dr. Nico Herbst focused on public law. He completed stations, among others, at the Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrografie, at the Hamburg Port Authority aöR and in the CBH Administrative Law team of Dr. Jochen Hentschel and Dr. Tassilo Schiffer.
