VITA

Alexander Fischer studied law at the University of Passau. During his legal clerkship at the Munich Higher Regional Court, he worked as a research assistant at the Munich office of a leading German IP law firm and at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, among others. In addition, Alexander Fischer successfully completed his training as a commercial mediator. After passing his second state examination, he obtained an LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property Law at the Technical University of Dresden and Queen Mary University of London.Alexander Fischer’s legal focus is on patent law and competition law.Alexander Fischer is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property. (GRUR), the research organisation Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI), and the International Bar Association (IBA).
