Wirecard AG has various subsidiaries: Wirecard Bank AG, Wirecard Service Technologies GmbH and Wirecard Acceptance Technologies GmbH.
In these companies, which previously had no works councils, management has now been requested to invite employees to election meetings without delay. It must therefore be observed whether works councils and possibly economic committees are actually institutionalized there and whether the rights of the works council resulting from the Works Constitution Act (BetrVG) will be activated in the future and the protection for employees guaranteed in the BetrVG will come into effect.
