Richard Haug studied law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, where he worked for many years as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, European History of Law and Insurance Law. After being admitted to the bar in 1998, he continued to work as a lecturer.
Richard Haug is head of the Stuttgart office of CBH.
He mainly advises technically oriented companies, in particular in commercial and corporate law. This regularly includes the drafting of development contracts, supply contracts and general terms and conditions.
Richard Haug also focuses on insolvency law and the restructuring of companies. In particular, he advises shareholders during insolvency proceedings.
Through his work at the University of Tübingen, Richard Haug also has expertise in all aspects of liability and tort law, including product liability, and has successfully litigated numerous cases in this field of law.
