Dr Frederik Bockelmann studied law at the University of Passau, at the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia) and at the University of Cologne.
Dr Frederik Bockelmann has been a lawyer since 2007. At the beginning of his career, he was initially employed by a lawyer admitted exclusively to practice before the German Federal Supreme Court. He was – as he is today – involved with complex issues, some of which have not yet been clarified by the supreme courts, in particular in the area of capital investment law.
Since 2011, Dr Frederik Bockelmann has been working as a lawyer for CBH in the Banking and Capital Markets / Complex Litigation team led by Paul H. Assies. He advises and represents savings banks, banks and investment brokerage companies in all questions of banking and banking supervisory law. He works for automotive groups and engine manufacturers in connection with diesel issues.
