Dr. Christina Nowak studied law with a focus on international and European law at the University of Cologne and the Universidad de Sevilla. She received her doctorate, sponsored by Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, at the University of Bonn and Melbourne Law School. She completed her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Cologne, including stations at the German Foreign Office in Toronto, Canada and in the legal department of a leading international chemical company.

Dr. Christina Nowak has been an attorney at CBH since 2019. She advises both nationally and internationally operating companies and the public sector on all questions of construction and planning law as well as environmental and nature conservation law. In particular, she has experience in advising on major construction and infrastructure projects, such as the development of an urban district, as well as on route-related projects, such as the construction of high-voltage power lines, roads and underground railway lines.

A further focus of her practice is advising on immission control approval procedures, in particular with regard to issues of regional planning law and the preparation or amendment of development- and land-use plans.
