Dieter Korten M.A. studied law and management in Bonn, California and England.

For more than 35 years he has been advising companies on M&A, corporate and antitrust law across borders. As a trusted advisor, this includes his long-term activities in supervisory and advisory boards of companies as well as the settlement of disputes between shareholders as a mediator or arbitrator.

Dieter Korten is arbitrator at DIS, DIS-Sportschiedsgericht (Cologne, Berlin), LCIA (London), ICHEIC (Washington D.C.) and arbitrator and mediator at ICM (Santa Monica, CA).

Until 2018 he was chief of staff of a worldwide deployed and joint armed forces command of the German Armed Forces, responsible for up to 14,000 soldiers and civilian staff.
