Dr. Jörg Laber studied law at Cologne University. After being admitted to the bar in 1992 he initially worked in a Cologne law firm specializing in Employment Law, almost two years thereof in their Leipzig office. Since 1996 he has been working at CBH.
From the very beginning of his professional activity Dr. Jörg Laber's legal work concentrated on regular HR support with regard to Employment Law as well as on advising and supporting employers throughout Germany in all questions of collective and individual Employment Law. Of particular importance is his focus on "public service" employers and the solution of the special problems they face, above all with regard to the law on staff representation.

Dr. Laber has been qualified as a Certified Specialist in Employment Law since 1995 and is a member of the German Association of Labour Courts and the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA).
He is co-editor of the Handbook on the Right of Dismissal, a member of the team of regular authors of the specialist magazine "Der Arbeits-Rechts-Berater“ and has also become known through numerous specialist publications as well as seminars and lectures on Employment Law.
