Dr. Marie Teworte-Vey

Dr. Marie Teworte-Vey completed her studies in Cologne with a period abroad in Tokyo. Subsequently she worked as research assistant at the Institute for Industrial Property and Copyright Law of Cologne University from 2003 to 2006.

During her legal traineeship in Cologne and New York and with an international law firm in Hamburg she continued her specialization in the field of Industrial Property Law.

Dr. Marie Teworte-Vey has been admitted to the bar since 2007. Her professional work focuses on Trademark and Competition Law as well as the Law on Registered Designs and Copyright. She advises and represents companies both in court proceedings involving infringements and also in trademark registration proceedings. In addition she deals with the formulation of trademark differentiation agreements and the review of advertising measures.
A further focus is Law of Print Media, in particular disputes concerning the right of freedom of expression.

Dr. Marie Teworte-Vey has been involved in various publications in the field of Industrial Property Law and is a member of the German Association for Industrial Property and Copyright Law.
