After his studies at Cologne University, Dr. Joachim Strieder continued at the university in both research and teaching. At the same time he already started working for CBH.

Dr. Strieder has been practicing for many years in the forensic sector of civil Building Law. Based on his vast experience in such proceedings he has been specializing for over 15 years in the development and negotiation of innovative contract concepts in this field. This includes drafting Commercial Law contracts involving property (land purchase contracts/sale-and-lease-back, property leasing etc.) and also contracts for German and international construction projects (e.g. FIDIC contracts).

Dr. Joachim Strieder has also been involved in numerous arbitration proceedings. He is a member of the German Institute for Arbitration and the German-American & German-Canadian Lawyers' Associations.
