After working for several years as a member of the Aachen Town Council, Stefan Koch studied law at Cologne University. On completion of his studies he worked as a research assistant at CBH and continued with this until passing his second state law examination.
Stefan Koch has been practising as a lawyer at CBH since 2001 and qualified as a Certified Specialist in Administrative Law in 2005. Apart from his extensive consultancy work in Public Building Law he specializes on legal issues concerning fire protection, work and product safety as well as immission control. He also lectures and publishes on legal questions concerning fire protection and is co-author of the “Brandschutzatlas”, the leading standard work concerning fire protection in the building industry.
Stefan Koch is a member of the Administrative Law Committee of the Cologne Bar Association.
