Lars Christoph studied law at Düsseldorf's Heinrich Heine University. After the first state law examination he spent his legal traineeship in Cologne. His practical training already focussed then on Administrative Law and he gained further experience in Public Law during his stay at the German University of Administrative Sciences at Speyer.

Lars Christoph has been admitted to the bar since 2008. His work centres on the field of Public Building Law as well as Project Approval Law. He advises companies and public corporations with regard to large infrastructure projects, above all with regard to the energy sector. In addition, He deals with issues of Local Government Law, in particular the law on the economic activities of Local Government.
Lars Christoph also has been a member of local government bodies (town and district levels) for more than 10 years. He has been playing a leading role there, working particularly in the field of town and urban development planning.
