Dr. Gabriele Wurzel

Dr. Wurzel studied at Mainz and Würzburg, incl. 3 months practical experience at the European Parliament, obtained her doctorate (Dr.) in Local Government Law and passed examinations with distinction in Bavaria. Dr. Wurzel started work in 1976 in the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice and can look back on a long career in administration and politics: Office of the Director of the German Bundesrat, Permanent Representation of Rhineland-Palatinate with the Federal Government, undersecretary-of-state in Rhineland-Palatinate (Interior), Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Head of State Chancellery and State plenipotentiary at the Federal Government) and Lower Saxony (Head of State Chancellery and of the Interior).
Dr. Wurzel has decades of experience in Public Law and excellent network links in administration and politics. 

She is co-editor of the handbook "Legal Practice of Local Authority Companies" (published by Beck Verlag) and author of numerous specialist publications on Public Law (incl. Constitutional Law).

Following prior project-related cooperation Dr. Wurzel joined CBH as "of counsel“ in 2008.
