Dr. Cornelia Wellens

Dr. Cornelia Wellens studied landscape ecology and law at Münster. Her first course of studies led to her focus on Planning and Environmental Law.

After spending her legal traineeship in Koblenz she worked as a research advisor at the Central Institute for Town and Country Planning at Münster University, where she undertook research on Planning Law and Local Government advice issues. In her dissertation to obtain her doctorate (Dr.) she dealt with Business Improvement Districts.

At CBH Dr. Cornelia Wellens also works on Planning and Environmental Law matters, supports clients during the development of large projects under the aspects of Public Law and also deals with the creation of building rights for individual projects. Her work centres in particular on nature conservation and immission control issues affecting urban development and approval procedures.
